Marshmallow Laser Feast

June 16, 2016

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to experience the senses of a dolphin as it uses echolocation, or a mosquito as it senses the CO2 coming out of someone's mouth from 20 metres away? These are things that Barnaby Steel and his team at London-based virtual reality company Marshmallow Laser Feast don't just wonder about, they actually work hard at creating a similar experience using VR.

"With virtual reality we're not so interested in replicating our picture of the world," Barnaby explained to us, "it's more that we're addressing the question of what reality looks like beyond our senses."

Impressed with the notion of a company that sets out to try to make such crazy ideas happen, we were really interested to speak to Barnaby for the fourth issue of our magazine about where he finds inspiration, and how Marshmallow Laser Feast is turning passion projects into a viable business.

You can find the interview in our fourth issue, available to buy at our online shop
