In light of recent events, don’t we all need a break? Design Hotels™ have some truly unique hotels in their collection, and we always enjoy taking a look at them for inspiration. Some of their newest members are luxury hotels that combine tradition and modernity in a sleek finish. Maybe one or two to add to your holiday list?
Dos Casas Hotel & Spa, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico
This 12-room hotel is set within two adjoining 18th century colonial houses. Its style is described by esign Hotels as “a mix of vanguard design and warm traditionalism.”
Memmo Prínciple, Lisbon, Portugal
On a hill overlooking Lisbon in one of the city’s trendiest areas, the hotel also boasts a restaurant has that draws its influences from Portugal, Brazil, Africa, and Asia.
Nakar Hotel, Palma de Mallorca, Mallorca
This hotel makes the most of using natural materials as part of its decor, creating a minimalist design with neutral colours.
La Bandita Townhouse, Pienza, Italy
This former convent has over 500 years of history, and has been transformed into a beautiful 12-room boutique hotel. The Townhouse Caffe is situated in a walled medieval garden, which serves seasonal and local produce.
